Malakai Torres

Jon Met Malakai Torres in the water surfing at Banyons in Kona. Jon was minding his own business when all of a sudden something flew by him what seemed to be traveling at Mach Ten speed; it was Malakai Torres. Jon Immediately paddled up to him and asked "where did you come from?". Jon and Malakai immediately became friends and Jon started making his boards. When Malakai rode a LaLa Surfboard for the first time he noticed a substantial difference in the behavior of the standard generic board he was previously on and the new one. Jon immediately preached basic surfboard design to him. He explaining how every surfer should design their own board and this model was born. The key to this board is the subtle soft bump-wing right at the front fins The rocker bends slightly in the middle with medium concave with a little fuller rail and outline for airs and a lower tail rocker to slight double barrel V. Malakai loves flatter boards for air speed so Jon made a few adjustments achieving the perfect combination of flatness and pivot .The Malakai Torres is a great all around board for most any level.
